One of the most detrimental things that can happen to a K-pop idol is getting swept up in a dating rumor.

HyunA, BTOB, Triple H, Pentagon and CLC make up the list of stars engulfed in dating rumors in the month of August, all of whom are managed by the same music label, Cube Entertainment.

Debuted on May 2 as Cube Entertainment’s latest act, (G)I-DLE is arguably the “hottest rookie” group in the music scene at the moment, with its debut single “LATATA” earning both public and critical acclaim.

Three months later, the six-piece girl group intends to keep the momentum going with yet another single “Hann (Alone)” released Tuesday at 6 p.m.

The music video of the song, which went online simultaneously with the song’s release, has hit the million view milestone in less than a day.

As with “LATATA,” the group’s leader Soyeon composed the most recent single.

With many predicting (G)I-DLE will be named 2018’s new artist of the year at year-end awards, Cube Entertainment can perhaps bet on the rookie group to undo the recent upset that is distressing other artists at the label.
