Super Junior D&E mentioned Henry, a former member of Super Junior-M, during an interview for the duo’s new album “‘Bout You” in Seoul on Monday.

“We feel sorry and wistful for him at the same time. We wish him all the best,” Eunhyuk said.

Henry, the Chinese-Canadian member of the Chinese subunit of Super Junior, parted ways with the group and S.M. Entertainment in April after 10 years under the agency. Upon his departure, Henry set up a one-man agency and has been branching out as an entertainer and actor in China.

“Henry has been showing his talent through music and many reality programs, and I feel really proud of him. I actually talked to him on the phone a few days ago, and I almost cried when he said he missed me,” he added.

Super Junior D&E also spoke about its short promotion period in Korea compared to Japan. The group, which debuted in 2015, has been mainly promoting in Japan, prompting many local fans to demand more activities in Korea.

After wrapping up two weeks of promotional activities for its new EP “‘Bout You,” which will be released Thursday, the act will embark on its Japanese nationwide tour from Sept. 7 to Nov. 9.

“We are aware of our lack of activities in Korea compared to those in Japan. It would be great if we could have more time in Korea, but our company has its own plan and we hope fans will understand,” Eunhyuk said.

“We feel sorry about that, and we are actually in talks with our agency to solve that problem. We are also preparing an extra something for our fans in Korea.”
