Singer-songwriter Paul Kim will release the single “Huega” on Thursday night.

As “Huega” means “holiday” in Korean, Kim’s new single is an upbeat song with a summer vibe coupled with groovy bass riffs.

Kim wrote both the lyrics and the melody for the song, which was produced by Donnie J. Bassist Alex Ai. Guitarist Michael Fish Herring also contributed to the song.

Kim was resourceful in the making of the single, as he recorded the sounds of ocean waves and beer cans, which were used to maximize the song’s summer holiday atmosphere.

The singer has been delivering a series of singles that have been consistently well-received both in terms of digital sales and video views including “The Road,” “Every Day, Every Moment” and “Rain.”

The new single, which will be released at 6 p.m. Thursday, comes nearly three months after the singer released his last single “Additional” in May.

The music video for the song, which was filmed in California, will be released next Thursday at the same time
