Hyomin from girl group T-ara will release a new album in mid-September, her first work to be unveiled since joining Sublime Artist Agency.

The album will consist of R&B and pop tracks produced by those who have taken part in the work by EXO, Red Velvet and Twice, the singer’s new agency said Tuesday.

Choreography team DQ will be directing the dance moves for Hyomin’s single, while the music video will be helmed by director Sung Chang-won, who has also filmed videos for Red Velvet and Taeyeon.

The new album will be the singer’s first release since her contract with MBK Entertainment came to an end last December.

Hyomin took to social media in January to announce that though she was not renewing her contract, it did not necessarily mean the end of T-ara.

T-ara debuted in 2009 as a six-piece act, with members joining and leaving the group throughout its decadelong career. Qri, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Eunjung are the remaining members of the group as of 2018.
