Pictures of K-pop group Big Bang’s T.O.P fulfilling his military duty has drawn divided reactions.

The pictures that recently surfaced online show the singer taking the trash out at the Yongsan Craft Center where he works as a public service worker.

T.O.P was seen wearing a mask, apron and pair of sneakers, cutting a casual figure.

Fans were excited as many of Big Bang’s fans await the group’s return to the music scene, with four of the five bandmates set to finish their military service late next year.

But others questioned why the singer was not wearing the official uniform for public service workers who perform alternative military service in Korea, with one Naver user accusing the singer of receiving special treatment.

Another user, however, came to the singer’s defense, saying people should just leave him alone and let him do his job.
