TVXQ’s Chang-min donates W50m for those hit by sweltering heat

TVXQ’s Shim Chang-min has donated 50 million won ($44,600) to the Seoul Housing Welfare Association, extending a helping hand to those suffering from the scorching heat.

“Changmin donated in hopes of offering help to people suffering from the heat wave,” S.M. Entertainment said Tuesday.

The Seoul Housing Welfare Association plans to use the singer’s donation to deliver fans, portable refrigerators and coolers to 450 households.

Last year, Shim became the 116th member of the Green Noble Club of Child Fund Korea by donating more than 100 million won in total.
