Singer Jessie wowed fans with a rousing performance of her new single “Down” at the Sprite Waterbomb Festival on Saturday.

The rapper wore mesh over a black bikini, in an apparent effort to stay cool for the outdoor performance in Jamsil, southern Seoul.

The 29-year-old singer uploaded pictures of herself on stage at the event on Instagram over the weekend with the caption, “Let’s get em wet,” which had garnered over 150,000 likes within 14 hours.

The singer captioned an even more popular set of photos of herself shot from behind her during the performance: “If you worked for it... You can show it off.”

Her tanned hourglass figure prompted fans to compare her to American singer Beyonce. Previously, Jessie had been referred to as the Korean Nicki Minaj upon the release of the video for “Down,” in which the singer dances suggestively with a male model.

Jessie performed at this year’s star-studded Sprite Waterbomb Festival alongside Black Pink, Winner, Hyolyn and Sunmi.

The Korean-American singer has recently been promoting her new single locally.
