After a relatively long hiatus, Park Bom will start the second chapter of her music career in coordination with new agency D-Nation.

According to industry sources, former girl group 2NE1 member Park Bom has joined hands with Korean-American producer Scotty Kim and creative director Ray Yeom to prepare for her return as a singer. Her album is expected to be released here in November at the earliest. She also plans to release an international album.

D-Nation is a newly established entertainment agency run by Kim and Yeom. The two worked together as songwriters in US before starting their own business. They are well-known for writing music for artists like Kelly Clarkson and Teddy Riley.

For many years, Park Bom has attracted fans all over the world with her unique vocal style. Her agency plans to combine her musical talent with Kim and Yeom’s international experience to take on the global market.

Park Bom debuted as a member of YG Entertainment girl group 2NE1 in 2009. At the top of her game, she got caught up in a controversy after she took prescription drugs that were illegal in Korea into the country in 2014 and has been on a hiatus since. 2NE1 disbanded in November 2016 and Park Bom left YG Entertainment. Her last performance on stage was during the 2015 MAMA Awards in Hong Kong.

Having gone through a rough time, Park Bom recently returned to the public eye through her Instagram account. She said, “I want to sing. I will soon come back with good music,” showing her will to continue her music career.
