GFriend returned with “Sunny Summer,” only three months after “Time for the Moon Night,” which was released on April 30.

“I feel like people would find this song to be perfect for summer,” said Sowon.

Previously known for its highly synchronized dance moves and vocals, GFriend says this single is going to be different. “We are going to have fun with this song, like we are having a vacation on stage,” explained Yuju.

Since the group’s debut in 2015, GFriend has enjoyed a series of hit songs including “Glass Bead,” “Me Gustas Tu,” and “Rough.”

The new music video has amassed 2.3 million likes on Naver’s V Live as of Friday.

Oh Ha-young, the youngest of Apink, just turned 22 and she celebrated the occasion with fans through Naver’s V Live on Thursday.

Birthday wishes from fans flooded in, showering the 10-minute broadcast with over 1.6 million likes. She reciprocated the love with lots of thank yous.

Introduced as the third member of the group in 2011, Ha-young is known as the group’s “golden maknae.”

Apink’s July extended play “One & Six” marked a departure from the group’s previous works as the sextet’s first attempt at a more mature and sophisticated style.

Kyungri’s late night snack

Kyungri of Nine Muses went live late at night Thursday while she munched on a late night snack.

Her choice of menu was instant noodles, which is South Korea’s popular late night snack, or “yasik” as it is called in Korean.

She debated with herself whether she should have it, since it is not very healthy and has a high sodium content, but in the end she gave in to the temptation.

Kyungri released “Blue Moon” fronted by “Late Night” on July 5. The 27-year-old debuted solo six years after her debut with Nine Muses in 2012, which made her the last addition to the dance pop group hurt by frequent departure of past members.
