Actor Bong Tae-gyu expressed support for his son’s interest in pink and princesses.

Bong wrote on his Instagram account Monday that his son, Si-ha, likes pink and also wants to become a princess. He added, “I want to support him and encourage him. The most important thing to me is Si-ha’s happiness, not the standards set by society.”

He also shared a photo of Si-ha with Si-an, soccer player Lee Dong-gook’s son. In the picture, Si-ha wears the Korean traditional costume, or hanbok, for girls.

Bong received a positive response, with people commenting that they admire his parenting philosophy.

Currently, Bong and his son star in the variety program “The Return of the Superman.”
