A comment that CL, formerly of 2NE1, made on Yang Hyun-suk’s Instagram post is going viral, with netizens suspecting it to be the artist’s way of confronting the YG Entertainment head publicly.

Earlier on Saturday, Yang posted a screenshot of a news article about Sechskies’ Eun Ji-won on his Instagram, with a caption, “This is what the real Eun looks like. I like people who are the same in and out. “We need to start recording.”

The next day, the ex-2NE1 member commented on the post, “What about me boss?” with the hashtag, “Please respond to my text messages.”

Also on Sunday, CL shared a photo of a cat wearing a hat labeled “boss” on her Instagram. The words “Go ahead, Do whatever you want” and “What a joke” were written on the cat’s body.

Those aforementioned messages have been widely interpreted by netizens as confronting Yang, as CL hasn’t been releasing any song since the group’s breakup in 2016. Many netizens replied to her comment by telling her to “leave YG” and urging Yang to work on CL’s comeback. The artist had previously hinted several times that she was waiting for a release.
