Singaporean sneaker brand YSneakers and S.M. Entertainment’s brand Astell&ASPR have joined forces to roll out limited-edition sneakers designed by SNSD and EXO-CBX.

Tae-yeon, Sunny, Hyo-yeon, and Yuri from SNSD and Chen, Baek-hyun, and Xiumin from EXO are participating in the collaborative project.

S.M. Entertainment on Wednesday released a short video showing the two groups jointly planning and designing the sneakers.

Each member designed two pairs of sneakers, featuring each singer’s personally chosen unique patterns and colors.

“It was our first time designing sneakers ourselves, and it was a very different and fun experience,” said the artists featured in the video.

A total of 1,000 pairs of sneakers can be preordered starting from July 25. The formal launch on the YSneakers website is scheduled for Aug. 16.
