Ashley of Ladies’ Code named Rose of Black Pink as one of her best friends.

During a recent interview with a local fashion magazine, the idol member, who hails from the US, shared how she became friends with Rose.

“When I first came to Korea, I went to a church, and there I met Rose who sat next to me. We clicked so much that we had to go to a coffee shop to continue the conversation,” she said.

They became friends without knowing each other’s jobs at first, she recalled.




Gearing up for a solo comeback, Ashley said she looks up to female soloist Lee Hyo-ri, while also admiring crossover musical actress Ivy for having a penchant for musical acting.

“I studied acting in university, but I am very interested in musicals. I always envy Ivy, my label mate, for her success as a musical actress,” she added.

Ashley will release the digital single “Here We Are” on July 17.
