Kentaro Sakaguchi told Korean viewers about his connection to BTS in an interview with a local TV channel on Monday.

He said that “BTS made the theme song for the Japanese version of Signal.”

This year, Sakaguchi starred in the Japanese adaptation of the Korean drama “Signal.” The drama aired on Japanese television from April to June.

Sakaguchi also visited BTS during its Japanese fan meeting. He said “I thought they were a great team when I met them. I am quite close with them now so I would like to have a chance to work with them.”

He praised the members' performances after having watched them live. He said, “I was very surprised. Their singing and dancing was the best.”

When asked which BTS songs he knew, he listed “DNA”, “Blood, Sweat, Tears” and “MIC Drop,”
