“I feel sorry to our Korean fans that we can’t meet often due to the world tour,” he said. “But we are doing well here. Many fans notice us and we are happy and thankful about that. We will get back in a short time and we will be able to see soon!”

While Kang was livestreaming, Ong Seong-wu, another member of WannaOne, appeared on the screen, surprising fans. By trying out a Japanese chips eating contest, trying to copy the punch lines of famous movies, and continuously communicating with the fans, the members’ broadcast resulted in 400,000 views and 100 million likes.

WannaOne is planning to constantly broadcast themselves through the V app during the world tour.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
