In addition to his activities for Sechs Kies, Lee spent a great deal of time last year preparing for the exhibition. Studying painting under artist Hwang Jae-yeon, he spent five days a week on average in a studio.

The exhibition involves his younger sister Lee Eun-ju, who is married to Yang Hyun-suk, head of YG Entertainment. “Hanzo’s art pieces about his sister with whom he feels most comfortable express love for his family,” Hwang said.

Lee debuted as a member of Sechs Kies in 1997. The group disbanded in 2000, but reunited without Ko Ji-yong in 2016, signing a contract with YG Entertainment.
