Japanese model-turned-actor Kentaro Sakaguchi took to Naver V live Tuesday, as part of a promotional event for his upcoming movie “Color Me True.” It was his first official fan meetup event in Korea.

“Hello, I’m Sakaguchi,” the actor said in Korean.

As soon as he introduced himself, he received many comments containing welcoming messages from his fans in Korea.

“What took you so long to come to Korea?” a fan jokingly said, while others expressed their overwhelming love for the actor.

“I came to Korea with this wonderful movie to meet you guys. I hope you enjoy the movie,” Sakaguchi said.

After the number of “hearts” exceeded 100,000, the movie star walked in front of the camera and showed a paper heart sign. “Please press the heart button many times,” he said, pointing to the red heart on the paper.

When a host asked about his thoughts on the soaring number of hearts, Sakaguchi answered “It’s amazing,” clapping his hands.

“What are you going to do if the number surpasses 1 million?” the host asked.

“I need to think about it,” he said.

The fans asked him to demonstrate “Kabe-don,” which refers to a pose in which a man slams his hand against a wall, if that happens.

While Sakaguchi was thinking, the number of hearts reached 1 million.

Instead of the suggested pose, the actor blew a kiss in front of the camera.

“I’m so embarrassed!” the actor shouted, covering his face with his hands.

“Color Me True” will be released on July 11.
