Have you ever wondered about who designs the stage outfits for idol groups?

Apink returned Monday with a dramatic style change, releasing its new EP “One & Six.”

Dropping its signature innocent style, the 6-piece act donned powerful black at the showcase. The black wasn’t dull, as it was completed with revealing cuts and golden details.

The designer behind the stage is Son Ru-mi, who owns fashion brand Sonua and online shopping mall Chee-u’s Closet.

After the showcase, Son shared some photos of Apink performing on stage. She wrote, “Sonua designed the stage oufits. The outfits were finished right before the showcase. It was stressful but I am proud of the work.”

Son has been gaining fame on YouTube as well, running a channel named “Cheongdam Unni, Chee-u.” She mainly reviews
luxury goods and shares her lifestyle with followers.
