KBS2 TV’s “Music Bank” released Red Velvet and Twice’s cover dance clips from its June 29 broadcast.

Red Velvet and Twice are represented by S.M. Entertainment and JYP Entertainment respectively, with the former responsible for Girls’ Generation and the latter behind the defunct Wonder Girls.

The two girl groups paid tribute to the K-pop legends by staging a cover performance.

Red Velvet covered Girls’ Generation’s 2009 dance pop “Gee,” which was a breakthrough hit for the then-rookie nine-piece group. Twice covered Wonder Girls’ 2007 retro pop “So Hot.”

The cover clips released Monday focus exclusively on one member from each group, Irene and Tzuyu, filmed in the fan-cam-style portrait mode. Both pulled off the dance to perfection, earning thousands of likes within hours of the clips’ release.

Girls’ Generation and Wonder Girls would be proud!
