K-pop boy band Seventeen will drop a new album on July 16, its agency Pledis Entertainment said Monday.

The 13-member group revealed a teaser video about the upcoming album during a concert at Jamsil Arena in eastern Seoul on Sunday.

In the video with a summer theme, members wear tropical summer shirts and the message "You Make My Day" pops up on the screen when Minkyu tosses a sunflower in the air.

It is their first album since their special album "Director's Cut" in February.

The band made its debut in May 2014, becoming one of the most influential K-pop bands among overseas fans. It expanded its career into the Japanese market with the album "We Make You" on May 30, which topped Japan's Oricon's daily albums chart. (Yonhap)
