Social media is buzzing with a heart-warming drama surrounding Simon Dominic and his lost uncle, whom the rapper has recently reunited with.

On Sunday morning, Simon Dominic wrote on his Instagram, “Thanks to your attention and help, I found my uncle. I will start filling in our lost time with happiness, and thank you again for everyone who has showed concern,” and shared a black-and-white photo of two men assumed to be his father and his uncle.

What makes the reunion so special is the fact that Simon Dominic has recently released a single dedicated to his uncle Jung Jin-chul. The song, which is the lead track off his new EP “Darkroom: roommates only,” gives a peek into the rapper’s relationship with his uncle. “My uncle’s name is Jung Jin-chul. His job is a fashion designer,” he belts out in the song, while expressing his wish to find him by rapping “I don’t expect him to find us first. I wonder if he will remember me after seeing me on TV. Will he feel guilty? That’s not what’s important right now.” According to the lyrics, Jung went missing after failing in his fashion business.

It has been said the rapper wrote the song in the hope of finding his uncle.
