Team Jin vs. Team Jimin showdown

BTS took on an escape room on Naver’s V app Tuesday.

The seven bandmates drew lots to group themselves into Team Jin and Team Jimin, two of whom are veteran “room escapers.” The two are known fans of the large-scale puzzles, having frequently been spotted at Seoul’s escape room game venues.

In an escape room, participants are challenged to solve a mystery within a given amount of time. Every room is themed differently and comes with a different set of rules. When every riddle has been solved, a clue is given to allow the participants to escape.

The teams broke down to Jin, Suga and V as against Jimin, RM, J-Hope and Jungkook.

Team Jin was assigned the “Sleeping Beauty”-themed room, while Team Jimin got “Korean Sauna.”

The “Korean Sauna” team led by Jimin did not try hard to hide their feelings about being assigned the “theme. “I really don’t want to play the sauna,” said RM, complaining of the summer heat and humidity. “I’m starting to regret my outfit.”

Team Jin ultimately came out victorious, a minute and three seconds ahead of Team Jimin, despite being outnumbered.

Wonder Girls’ Yeeun, or HA:TFELT as she is now known, held an online counseling session for fans.

“Let me know how you guys are doing in the comments,” she said, starting off the broadcast.

“To find someone who’s right for you, you obviously have to keep looking,” the 29-year-old replied to a fan asking for dating advice. “You have to put yourself out in the dating market and explore.”

“You shouldn’t be afraid to meet new people,” she added. “That’s how you get to know someone.”

Yeeun kicked off her solo career under the stage name HA:TFELT three years prior to the disbandment of Wonder Girls. Her solo debut album “Me?” made Billboard’s list of the 10 best K-pop albums of 2014. She also currently stars in MBN reality show “Rebellious Girl.”

Sunwoo Jung-a, or SWJA, teased her summer concert with snippets of hit songs sung live.

Her 2017 single “Cat,” featuring IU, became one of her more well-received works.

The South Korean R&B singer-songwriter is also a music producer who has worked on some of the hottest K-pop artists’ works since 2010. Those works include G-Dragon’s “What Do You Want” and Big Bang duo GD & TOP’s “Oh Yeah,” featuring 2NE1’s Park Bom, both released in 2010. She also worked on IU and Lee Hi’s albums as a lyricist and composer.

Tickets for the concert, scheduled for August, opened for sale on June 14.
