Taeyeon unveiled some behind-the-scenes footage from her music video of her latest extended play “Something New” released on June 18.

“’Something New’ is an urban pop song with sounds so vivid that you’d feel like listening to it live at a concert,” the 29-year-old explained.

She plays a 007-esque action figure in the music video, throwing punches and shooting suitcases.

“You don’t need to work hard to change for someone else,” sings the lyrics.

Taeyeon embarked on a successful career as a solo artist with the 2015 extended play “I.” “Something New” is her first release of 2018.
