Is BTOB perhaps overestimating the singing abilities of its fans?

BTOB’s new EP “This is Us,” fronted by the lead track “Only One for Me,” was unveiled Monday at 6 p.m.

The seven-piece act posted a guideline video for fans to chant along to the song on Naver’s V app Wednesday.

Fans’ responses varied, but most seemed to think it was as challenging as the song itself.

“Why is this so complicated? You said it was going to be easy,” a fan said. “At least this is easier than (the fan chant to) ‘Missing you,’ I think,” said another.

K-pop acts tend to have what is called “official fan chants,” which is considered a way to let the artists know that they are being cheered on by fans.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
