Seo Kang-joon talked about playing the role of a robot in KBS 2TV’s ongoing drama “Are You Human Too?” during a recent photo shoot with a local magazine.

The drama, which premiered June 4, centers around Nam Shin, a third-generation chaebol heir who falls into a coma following an accident, and his mother, who creates a robot duplicate of him called Nam Shin III. Seo plays both the sick man and the robot.

“It was hard to play the robot convincingly, as there was a scarcity of references and the role was methodically different from what I’ve done before,” he said.

“While it was really exciting to read the script, I’ve gone through plenty of ups and downs in the process of expressing it into acting.”
