B.I of iKon revealed how he came up with the boy band’s hit track “Love Scenario” in the latest episode of the group’s reality show “iKon TV” aired via Naver’s V app Saturday.

B.I’s segment of the show started with the singer heading to his studio.

“If I go to the studio now, there will be a lot of friends (there),” he said.

At the studio, he introduced his friends to the camera one by one: Seung, Millenium (Rae-sung), Dusty and One.

The video then showed them making the song.

“I want to make a song about my day,” B.I said. “So (the lyrics should go like) ‘I did this, this and that.’”

After struggling to come up with lyrics, they started to record the song right away. They were rather carefree when it came to the recording.

“Perfect. The last one was perfect!” “It was almost like Mozart!” they said, expressing satisfaction with the recording.

“This is how we make a song. ‘Love Scenario’ was also made like this,” B.I said.

“We made it in two hours,” Millenium said.

“Love Scenario” is the lead track of iKon’s 11-track album “Return.” After its release in January, the song swept local music charts and remained on top for 43 days.

Boy band Up10tion celebrated its member Kogyeol’s birthday in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

“I became 23 years old already. It’s been a long time since I met my bandmates and at some point, we became adults, though it still feels like we are children,” Kogyeol said.

“Right, we met when we were in second grade in high school,” Sunyoul agreed.

Instead of blowing out the candles on a cake, sharing birthday wishes or looking back on memories, which celebrities usually do on V app broadcasts held to celebrate birthdays, the Up10tion bandmates played games and chitchatted during the broadcast.

When a fan asked whether he had seaweed soup, a dish traditionally served on birthdays here, Kogyeol said, “I couldn’t yet but I will have the seaweed soup my mom makes when I go back home.”

When Wooshin murmured, “Right, Kogyeol’s mom is really good at cooking,” Kogyeol invited his bandmates to visit his home.

“But you have to take the subway for like an hour,” Kogyeol said.

“It was my third birthday celebrated as an Up10tion member. I felt so happy to celebrate it with my bandmates and Honey10s (Up10tion’s fan club name),” Kogyeol said wrapping up the broadcast. “I love you Honey10s and I will spend a really happy birthday today.”

April celebrated the 1,000th day since the girl group’s debut in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

The group started the broadcast by blowing out candles on a cake that were in the shape of “1,000”

The group’s members said they were on their way back from a promotional event and decided to hold the broadcast as it was getting late.

While eating the cake, the April bandmates shared memories of the past 1,000 days.

“The number 1,000 is so amazing. It was also amazing on our 800th day and 900th day but it’s more amazing,” Jinsol said.

“It feels like it suddenly became 1,000 from 100,” Chaewon agreed.

April recently released its fifth EP “The Blue,” fronted by the lead track “The Blue Bird.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
