Max of K-pop duo TVXQ learned how to prepare lobsters in the latest episode of the duo’s variety show “72 Hours of TVXQ” streamed via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

The reality show features the two singers taking on new occupations for 72 hours, with U-Know working as a kindergarten teacher and Max working in the kitchen of chef Choi Hyun-seok’s restaurant.

The episode started with the lobsters being delivered to the kitchen.

“Oh, do we need to prepare the lobsters? So (Max) will finally experience the slaughter,” Choi said. “Kill them without mercy!”

“I’ve never cut off even the head of a fish,” Max said.

He was asked to twist and cut the living lobsters into pieces -- the claws, body and tail -- with his hands.

While separating each part, he moaned and repeatedly said, “I’m sorry. Sorry, guys.”

“The lobster was closing its claws. I could feel that they were saying, ‘Please don’t cut my claws.’ The lobster was begging so desperately. You won’t know that but I felt it,” the singer said.

“It indeed was the ‘Memories of Murder.’ Oops, no ‘Memories of Slaughter,’” he said, referring to the 2003 film.
