Yang Yo-seop of Highlight will hold his first solo concert.

The singer made a surprise announcement on Monday about the concert plan through an online broadcast. It will be the first solo concert for the singer who debuted in 2009.

The concert series will be held at Kyung Hee University, Seoul on June 16 and 17. Tickets can be purchased online through Interpark Ticket website from May 23 for officially registered fans and from May 24 for others.

Yang, widely known for his vocal talent, is expected to sing the tracks from his latest solo album “Baek,” released in February, along with other performances.

His band Highlight was formerly known as B2ST, but had to change its name after leaving former agency Cube Entertainment in 2016.
