[V Report Plus] Seventeen talks about winning on ‘Immortal Song’

Boy band Seventeen expressed their thoughts on winning on KBS’ music competition show “Immortal Song 2: Singing the Legend” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Monday.

In the broadcast, the Seventeen bandmates updated fans with the group’s recent activities.

On the latest episode of the KBS show aired on Saturday, the group won the competition after singing Korean legendary pop singer Cho Yong-pil’s track “Short Hair.”

In Monday’s live broadcast, Seungkwan said, “We are so honored. We are honored only to compete on the episode which features Master Cho Yong-pil’s songs.”

“When we won for the first time, tears welled up because I didn’t expect (to win) at all,” he said. “A lot of senior singers complimented and encouraged us.”

“We were so amazed by the fact that we performed with such a great senior singers,” he said.

“Seungkwan and I have been to the filming of ‘Hello Counselor’ recently and you know Shin Dong-yup emcees both shows. He cared a lot about us,” Hoshi said.

“He mentioned several times that we won on ‘Immortal Songs’ during the filming,” Seungkwan said.
