Lee Hyo-ri shared her thoughts on happiness on the JTBC variety show “Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast.”

The program features K-pop star Lee and her husband Lee Sang-soon running a guest house on Jeju Island.

Sunday’s episode showed Lee and her first foreign guest hitting the road to do grocery shopping.

“Many people want to become important, and I think it has become important these days to showcase oneself,” said Lee.

“Everybody looks happy on social media, but the reality is different. It’s my story as well. People usually say that ‘Hyori is pretty, rich and has a nice husband,’ but that’s not entirely true. I think people sometimes only want to see my good sides.”

She added that she values the fact that she has a good husband and a few good friends, with whom she can do anything.

The program recently featured actor Park Bo-gum, who made a brief appearance as the house’s temporary assistant.
