Singers Jung Hyeong-don and Defconn, the host of JTBC’s new idol variety show “Idol Room,” will hold a special broadcast in which they will unveil the filming of its first episode via Naver’s V app.

Featuring the duo as its hosts, who hosted MBC Every1’s idol show “Weekly Idol” for more than seven years, “Idol Room” is a variety show which invites idol groups as the guests. For the first episode, boy band Wanna One was confirmed to be the guest.

The filming of the JTBC show will largely rely on the fans’ support on the singer during the live broadcast as they will decide how many bandmates can perform during its ending segment based on the number of “hearts” the group earns during the 10-minute long live broadcast.

The live broadcast will be held at midnight, when the day turns to Tuesday. The episode will air on May 12 at 4 p.m. on JTBC.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
