SinB and Yuju of girl group GFriend communicated with their fans in a live broadcast held in the waiting room for the KBS talk show “Hello Counselor” via Naver’s V app Sunday.

As the KBS show is a show where people share their struggles and gain sympathy from others, the girl group also shared their worries.

“I have a lot of worries recently but they are all trivial -- you may think ‘Meh’ when you hear about it,” SinB said. “One of them is that I can’t sleep recently. I could sleep only two hours last night!”

“You know when you are too tired you can’t go to sleep,” she said.

“I went to bed at 11 p.m. last night but I couldn’t go to sleep so I’ve been on my phone until like 3 a.m. but I still couldn’t go to sleep,” she said. “So I went back to my phone until 6 a.m. and then until 8 a.m. and then I could finally go to sleep.”

Surprised by her bandmate’s problem, Yuju suggested SinB call her if she cannot go to sleep adding that her problem is not trivial.

“I often heard SinB saying ‘I couldn’t sleep last night’ but didn’t expect that her (sleeplessness) was this serious,” Yuju said. “People should sleep and eat to live. From this night on, I will be her personal sleep specialist.”

When Yuju proposed to sing a lullaby for SinB, SinB joked, “Wouldn’t it make me have insomnia?”

Yuju’s next resolution was to take away SinB’s phone at night.

“You know many people today watch their phone screens until late. But I was told that if you watch your phone screen until so late, your brain cannot sleep,” SinB said.

GFriend is scheduled to release its new mini album “Time for the Moon Night” on April 30.

Girl group Lovelyz communicated with its fans ahead of the release of its fourth mini album “Heal” via Naver’s V app Sunday.

In the broadcast, the group introduced the album and its six tracks including its lead track “You On that Day,” “Heal,” “Bizarre,” “Temptation.” “Watercolor” and “Shining★Star.”

However, as the Lovelyz bandmates did not have colorful dyed hair, which is often considered to be a hint for a release for other K-pop idols, fans doubted whether the group is actually releasing a new album.

While laughing, they replied, “Yes we are coming back,” “We are coming back tomorrow.”

The new release will mark the group’s first release in five months since they dropped its third EP “Fall in Lovelyz” in November last year.

Having debuted in November 2014, Lovelyz was the first all-female vocal band produced by Woolim Entertainment. The group has released many hit singles, including “Ah-choo,” “Destiny” and “Wow!”

“Healing” is to go on sale Monday at 6 p.m.

Oh My Girl
K-pop girl group Oh My Girl celebrated its third year anniversary of its debut in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

During the broadcast, the Oh My Girl bandmates expressed their appreciation to fans for supporting the group.

“Thank you for being with us for three years. We will keep showing you good performances so let’s be together for a long time. I love you!” Jiho said.

“As I’ve been together with Miracle since I was still a teenager until I became an adult at 20, I will show you improvements over time so please be with us until the end,” Arin said, referring to the group’s fan club.

“The time flew and it’s already been three years since we debuted,” Mimi said. “As we are celebrating (the anniversary) now, set up a cake at your home and let’s celebrate it together!”

“While being with Miracle and Oh My Girl bandmates, every moment and every situation was happy and precious. I will try hard to return the happiness or love I got,” Binnie said.

“It’s been three years already! I think it was a happy time as I got these bandmates to walk together and Miracles who love us,” Hyojung said. “As we will keep giving you happiness, I hope Miracles will be happy while watching us.”
