Jisoo of girl group Black Pink communicated with her fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Saturday.

During the broadcast which was held in her hotel room in Japan, a fan asked the singer to speak in Chinese.

“Well, I can’t speak Chinese well,” she said. However, the singer soon said “Ni hao” which means “Hello” in Chinese.

She then talked about the difficulty she had when she was learning Chinese and Japanese at the same time.

“When I started learning (Chinese) while I was learning Japanese, the two languages got mixed up in my brain so it was very hard,” she said.

“I couldn’t distinguish the two well,” she said. “So when I wanted to speak Chinese, Japanese expressions sprang to my mind while when I wanted to speak Japanese, Chinese expressions sprang to my mind.”
