Photos of Big Bang’s Taeyang serving his mandatory military service have surfaced on online communities.

The 29-year-old began his military service on March 12 at a camp in Gangwon Province. Fans had come to see him off near the camp.

Roughly two weeks into basic training, Taeyang appears to have adjusted well to life in the Army. A group photo showed Taeyang smiling brightly. In another shot, he is seen holding up a weapon.

All of the Big Bang members, except the youngest member Seungri, are currently serving in the Army. Seungri has also expressed his wish to join the military in the near future, so as to minimize the length of time Big Bang would be gone from the music scene.

The group’s latest work is the song “Flower Road,” which came out on March 13 and quickly rose to the top of local music charts.
