Lucy of girl group Weki Meki apologized to Red Velvet’s Irene for freaking out in front of her at a recent music festival, on Naver’s V app Monday.
When the host of CELUV TV asked why she screamed when she saw Irene, Lucy blushed and burst into laughter.

She said during the music festival all the bandmates of Weki Meki were wearing white, and since the lights were so bright, everything seemed to be white. She mistook Irene to be part of Weki Meki and put her hand on her shoulder, commenting, “It is too cold.”

But it was when she felt the velvet texture of her garment that she realized something was wrong. She said, “When she turned around, I was so shocked to find out it was Irene. I’m so sorry (Irene).”

She sent a video message to Irene at the end of the video, saying, “Irene, I am so sorry! Although it wasn’t on purpose, I’m sorry I shocked you. But you were so pretty then and you are so pretty. You are gorgeous. I love you!”
