DK of boy band Seventeen shared his thoughts on releasing a single as part of a new subunit in a live radio broadcast via Naver’s V app Sunday.

His bandmate Seungkwan held a broadcast on the day before, prompting a fan to say that it seemed they were holding broadcasts in the order of Boo-Seok-Soon, a subunit of Seventeen consisting of Seungkwan, DK and Hoshi.

When a fan commented, “So Boo-Seok-Soon’s actually coming back,” DK said, “We are debuting. We are not coming back. It’s the first debut of Boo-Seok-Soon.”

“Boo-Seok-Soon, the gag trio from our trainee years, will debut as subunit!” he said. “You will see us in a few days. We will also perform on music shows. I’m so excited to meet you soon.”

The subunit unveiled its debut single “Just Do It” earlier at its recent fan meeting event.

“As you liked it (at the event) and the response was good, we were able to debut,” DK said.

“Just Do It” will be released Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
