Kang Daniel and Hwang Min-hyun of boy band Wanna One talked about what BoA means to them in the latest episode of BoA’s variety show “Keyword #BoA,” which aired via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

The two appeared on the second season of Mnet’s “Produce 101” last year where they made their long-awaited debut as members of Wanna One. BoA appeared on the show as the representative of “national producers.”

“(She is) a person who becomes the dream for those who dream,” Kang said. “But BoA still is dreaming (of being better singer). I want to follow her forever.”

“As I see her close up, I became more ambitious. (I thought) ‘I want to become like this person,’ ‘I want to follow this person,’” he said. “She is like the North Star for me.”

“BoA, as a senior singer, is a role model. I think she’s a role model because I hope Wanna One and other artists can continue to work hard to sing and dance for a long time like her,” Hwang said.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
