Boy band GOT7 expressed its thoughts on appearing on JTBC variety show “Knowing Bros” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Monday.

“We appeared on ‘Knowing Bros’ last week. I was nervous at first but as the hosts made me feel comfortable, I could finish the filming well,” Yugyeom said.

“We appeared with producer Park Jin-young. We were clumsy (at the filming) but I hope we can star on the show by our own as we improve ourselves.”

Park, also known as JYP, is the CEO and producer of JYP Entertainment, the group’s agency and label.

“He got momentum and talked a lot. I hope to appear on the show by ourselves someday,” JB said.

Jinyoung, while agreeing with JB, said “We will star on the show by ourselves next time to talk about many issues.”

On Monday, the group released its latest album “Eyes on You” featuring the lead track “Look.”

Model-actress Esom and actor Ahn Jae-jong, the main cast of upcoming romance film “Microhabitat” communicated with their fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Monday.

The new film tells the story of Mi-so who is like a modern representation of Sara Crewe from the children’s novel “A Little Princess,” who makes living in city in her own way while giving up to have a decent home.

Esom, who plays the role of Mi-so, said, “We recently call the young generation as ‘N-po generation.’ This is (the movie) which depicts the generation well. It tells the journey of the character Mi-so.”

“N-po Generation” is used to describe young people who are forced to give up many things in life such as courtship, marriage, childbirth, becoming a home owner and social life, due to high cost of living.

“I think the film is fairy tale-like and it is very sharp as it has a lot of satire in it,” Ahn said.

In the broadcast, the two actors also talked about their own so-hwak-haeng or small-but-certain happiness in their lives.

As the recent generation often gives up many things in their lives, they instead seek for the small-but-certain happiness in their lives, such as eating the bread hot from the oven or keeping their underwear well-folded and neatly arranged in the drawer.

While Esom suggested “the cup of coffee I drink every day and going to the cinema,” Ahn said “Eating sweet and sour chicken and drinking a can of beer while watching TV at home.”

“Microhabitat” is scheduled to hit cinemas here on March 22.

The members of K-pop girl group April expressed their feelings on their fifth EP, “The Blue,” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Monday.
The new album is the first release of the group in six months since it dropped its fourth EP “Eternity” in September last year.

“It’s a new release in only six months, I feel very nervous and excited. I hope to have many happy things during the promotional activities for this album,” Naeun said.

“We practiced hard to show you our more mature selves. I think the song is very good too. I hope you to like it,” Chaewon said.

About the EP’s lead track “The Blue Bird,” which was inspired by the 1908 play, Jinsol said, “We tried hard to show a mature charm. I think we look more mature than during our previous album as we dyed our hair in dark colors and wore pants.”

In the broadcast, the group also made a pledge if the track tops the weekly music shows.

While they suggested various ideas such as making a huge birdcage or dancing to “The Blue Bird” in front of the blue birds at a bird museum, they after all decided to distribute either blue roses or blue paper flowers, as they distributed candies in Noryangjin-dong during their previous promotion.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
