Big Bang’s Seungri on Saturday updated his Instagram with a teaser photo of “Flower Road,” a song slated for release on Tuesday featuring all of Big Bang’s five members.

Seungri wrote on Instagram, “How long has it been since the last song? Let’s only walk on the flower road.”

Walking on the flower road is a Korean figurative speech referring to a path without hardships, laid out for loved ones.

The song was composed and arranged by G-Dragon and The Fliptones. G-Dragon and T.O.P. wrote the lyrics.

YG Entertainment, Big Bang’s label, had recently made the surprise announcement of “Flower Road” as an unpublished creation made during the group’s MADE album series. The song was written with the singers’ imminent military duties in mind.

Four of Big Bang’s five singers are bound to the army for the next two years. T.O.P. was the first to enlist as a conscripted police on Feb. 9 in 2017. He was swept in a controversy with marijuana consumption in June last year and is now serving as a public service agent as the alternative.

G-Dragon was the second to join the military service by entering on Feb. 27, this year. Taeyang and Daesung are to enter on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, leaving the youngest member Seungri as the only non-soldier. The army has more or less pushed the Big Bang members in to the next chapter of their lives. Taeyang married his actress girlfriend Min Hyo-rin on Feb. 3, tying the knot before they are effectively seperated during Taeyang’s army duty.

The “Flower Road” release coincides with Daesung’s army entry day.
