Mamamoo taught its fans how to cheer for its new track “Starry Night” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

“We came back with our sixth EP,” Wheein said at the beginning of the broadcast. “So ahead of our first performance, we would like to explain how to cheer (for the new track).”

“When you come tomorrow, you will bring the cheer stick, right?” she said. “Please turn it on in yellow.”

When Moonbyul asked whether the color should be yellow because the title of the new album is “Yellow Flower,” Wheein explained that each light would represent stars.

The four Mamamoo bandmates waved the light sticks and shouted out the name of each member as well as some lyrics.

“We are encouraged because of the fans who make a desperate effort when they come to watch us performing,” Wheein said.

“I understand you may be confused with the cheer. We didn’t realize it before but it is actually confusing,” Moonbyul said.

Solar asked fans to enjoy the cheer, as they can try it whenever and wherever.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
