Suga of BTS carried out punishments for losing on previous episodes of the group’s weekly variety show “Run BTS!” in the latest episode aired via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

In one of the recent episodes, Suga’s team, consisting of Suga, J-Hope and Jimin, lost in a quiz game. After a rock-paper-scissors game among the three, Suga was decided as the final loser to enter the winter sea.

“I came to Jeju Island to carry out the punishment,” Suga said in Tuesday’s episode. “But as the temperature is below zero degrees Celsius, I don’t think I can enter the water.”

Still, he tried to keep his promise by dipping his hand into the water.

After the clip in Jeju, Suga appeared on the show wearing the costume of RJ, a BT21 character of Jin.

In another previous episode, it was decided that he would wear the costume as a punishment for losing in game.

BT21 is a set of characters created by the boy band and Naver’s Line Friends.

Inspired by the drawings of BTS members, BT21 consists of eight characters: seven correlating to each of the seven bandmates -- RJ (Jin), Shooky (Suga), Mang (J-Hope), Koya (RM), Chimmy (Jimin), Tata (V) and Cooky (Jungkook) -- and the final character Van representing the band and its fandom, Army.

Though RJ is a character inspired by an alpaca, RM teased, “This looks more like a sheep rather than an alpaca.”

“It is really heavy. (It feels like) the head is becoming bigger,” Suga complained.
