Park Hae-jin, Oh Yeon-seo, Mun Ji-yun and Kim Hyun-jin, the cast of upcoming romance=t-thriller film “Cheese in the Trap,” communicated with fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

Based on the Korean webtoon series with the same title illustrated by cartoonist Soonkki, the film shows the delicate relationship between a female university student Hong Seol and her senior Yoo Jung. The webtoon was earlier made into a drama series in 2016.

During Tuesday’s broadcast, Park, who again plays the role of Yoo Jung as he did in the 2016 drama, was asked how the film is different from the drama.

“The film focused more on the thriller aspect,” the actor said.

Park also said he acted the role totally differently in the film than in the drama.

“I played the role in the film in a different way. It was different from the drama,” he said. “It felt totally different when acting Yoo Jung or dealing with other characters.”

“The drama was a bit easier. As (the story) was abridged a lot in the film, there were many restrictions in depicting the relationship between characters,” he said.

Also featuring the star-studded cast of Park Ki-woong, Yoo In-young, Oh Jong-hyuck, the new film is scheduled to hit local cinemas on next Wednesday.

Jang Dong-gun, Ryu Seung-ryong and Choo Chang-min, the actors and the director of upcoming thriller film “Night of 7 Years,” communicated with fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Tuesday.

In the broadcast, Ryu said about Jang, “He did something big with ‘Night of 7 Years.’”

“I guess you did big in the film,” Jang joked. “As he is very good at acting, I felt like I’m doing enough just by being with him.”

“Though it was for short time, we worked together on a film,” he said. “’We starred together in ‘Good Morning President’ and I liked the energy. I received a lot of help while filming this movie. I hope to work together with him again if I had chance.”

“I wish to meet him with cheerful roles such as ‘Two Cops’ or ‘Detective K.’ The roles like ‘Dumb and Dumber.’”

“Night of 7 Years” is set to hit cinemas here on March 28.

Jung Il-hoon of boy band BTOB released a video featuring snippets from first mini album “Big Wave” via the V app Tuesday.

The video played audio samples from the album, which consists of five songs, including “Tell Me,” “Fancy Shoes,” “She’s Gone,” “Big Wave” and “Always.”

The singer participated in penning and writing of all five songs.

“This album tells the story of people. I expressed different forms of love and sudden frustration in life. And then I carefully conveyed my own message in it,” he introduced the album.

“As it was my first step (as solo) I was afraid as if the big wave was coming to me but I was careful and I tried not to lose my own color,” he said.

“Big Wave” is to be released on Thursday.
