Kim Jong-kook and Haha are aiming to produce a drama, according to the first episode of their web variety show “Big Picture” aired via Naver’s V app Monday.

In the episode, producer Yeo Woon-hyeok announced that the goal of the second season is to produce a drama.

“I got two good scripts,” he said. “To hit the jackpot, we have to do a drama.”

However, Yeo soon threw Kim and Haha into confusion by saying that the production cost would be over 7 billion won ($6.52 million)

At first, Kim and Haha seemed to lose motivation due to the large amount, but Yeo persuaded the two, saying that the KBS drama “Descendants of the Sun” had earned 100 billion won.

“We have to cast Hallyu stars such as Song Joong-ki, Kim Soo-hyun, EXO or BTS as our leading actors,” Yeo said.

Kim, who appears on the SBS variety show “Running Man,” said proudly, “I’ve done well with EXO.”

The first season of the program showed Kim and Haha running an advertisement agency to earn production costs for their show of the same title, which was originally to be a large-scale project, but ended up saddled with debt.

The show enjoyed unexpected popularity, drawing over 50 million views on Naver.

Kim Mu-yeol, Park Hee-soon, Im Won-hee, Oh Jung-se and Kim Min-kyo, the main actors of the upcoming action flick “Snatch Up,” communicated with fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Monday.

Known for his comic acting in “Saturday Night Live Korea,” Kim Min-kyo said he took this role rather seriously.

“I tried not to be so smiley this time. I cut my hair short and did a tattoo (in the film),” he said. “I’ve never seen such an intense look before,” Im added.

“As soon as I read the script for this film, I looked forward to the finished work. I can’t wait for the film and I’m happy to proudly present this (to the audience),” Kim Min-kyo said.

The film tells the story of seven men chasing each other to snatch a bag filled with cash.

It is scheduled to hit cinemas here in April.
