Boy band iKon promoted its new track “Rubber Band” in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Sunday.

The group started the broadcast heralding that it achieved a triple crown on music shows with its latest track “Love Scenario.”

“It was very surprising and we felt very grateful (for supporting the track),” B.I said.

While expressing their gratefulness, the iKon bandmates also announced that they will release another track “Rubber Band” on Monday.

“(The song) alluded to the couple in period lassitude as the rubber band which is about to be snapped,” B.I explained. “If you pull a little bit more, the rubber band would be snapped,” Song Yun-hyeong added.

The group revealed the members have poured great effort into the upcoming song, saying that they modified the song eight times and they are still modifying the choreography.

“We can’t perform ‘Love Scenario’ because we’re too exhausted practicing the choreography of ‘Rubber Band,’” B.I said. “It actually got sore from the neck to calves!” Kim Dong-hyuk said.

“What is certain is that the choreography seems to be the best-ever,” Kim said.

About releasing a new song while still promoting “Love Scenario,” B.I said, “We didn’t know that ‘Love Scenario’ would be loved this much, from the public and the fans. This (‘Rubber Band’) is the only reward we can give.”

“Though the song is not about our gratefulness but it is our gift to let them listen to the best song,” he said.

“Rubber Band” is scheduled to be released at 6 p.m. on Monday.
