Yang Yo-seob of boy band Highlight revealed an anecdote on his favorite song in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

“I want to share good songs with the fans,” he said starting up the broadcast.

While introducing “Missing You” of R&B duo Fly to the Sky as one of his favorite songs, he shared an anecdote from his childhood related to the track.

“During my school trip, there was a time when I sang ‘Missing You’ with my friend and the instructor praised us. We were the only team who could sing the full song,” he said.

He said after he returned from the school trip, he told his mom that he would become a singer.

“I feel so proud and happy to see people who are healed by my song,” he said. “Sometimes I too want to hear your voice.”

In the broadcast, he also showed his affection to the fans.

“When I go back home after the concert, sometimes I have a buzzing in the ears. Even that feels like the shouting sound (of fans),” he said. “I feel empty and lonely but I think I can endure it and overcome it thinking that we will see each other again.”

Yang debuted with the group Beast in 2009. Along with four other Beast members, he changed labels from Cube Entertainment to Around Us Entertainment in 2017, renaming themselves Highlight.

Kim Hee-ae, Kim Kang-woo and Kim Sang-kyung, the lead actors of upcoming thriller film “Vanished Night,” communicated with fans in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

In the broadcast to promote their upcoming film, the three actors talked about how well they get along.

“We (consist of) three Kims -- it’s Team Kim” Kim Sang-kyung said, referring to Korean women’s curling team.

Then they were asked to choose between jajangmyeon and jjamppong, dipping the fried pork into the sauce and pouring sauce on the fired pork, and friend chicken and seasoned spicy chicken.

They answered the same to the all three questions.

“Vanishing Night” tells the story of a detective investigating the case of the disappearance of a woman’s corpse from a morgue, a suspect and his wife.
