Girl group Mamamoo introduced its upcoming album “Yellow Flower” in a live broadcast held at the waiting room for the KBS talk show “Hello Counselor” via Naver’s V app Sunday.

“The concept of this album is four seasons, four colors,” Wheein said. “While the upcoming albums will feature the theme of four seasons and the colors of four members, this first album is about spring, yellow -- which is the color of spring -- and Hwasa, the flower.”

“You will be able to feel the music which contains the emotion of when the winter becomes spring,” she said.

As the KBS show is a show where people share their struggles and gain sympathy from others, the girl group also shared their worries ahead of the new album release.

“As the new album will be released on March 7, we have to manage ourselves until then, such as going on a diet,” Solar said. “As it’s right around the corner,” Wheein agreed.

“I think Mamamoo bandmates are pretty good at maintaining their body. I think what is more difficult is maintaining the body weight than losing it,” Hwasa said.

“Yellow Flower” is set to be released on March 7.

Kim Sung-kyu of boy band Infinite communicated with his fans in a live broadcast held to promote his upcoming solo album “10 Stories” via Naver’s V app Sunday.

In the broadcast, he introduced the tracks from his upcoming first full-length album while answering fans’ questions.

When asked about the most precious moment after his debut as an Infinite member, he answered, “When we had our first concert -- it is the most precious memory.”

“I can’t forget that throbbing feeling when I was on the stage,” he added.

He was also asked if there was any moment that he felt sorry to other bandmates during recent promotion for the group’s new album.

“There was a time when Woohyun had to wait for me for 30 minutes,” he said, while sending an apology to his bandmate.

His group Infinite recently released its third full-length album “Top Seed” in January. It was the group’s first release since it dropped its sixth mini album “Infinite Only” in September 2016.

Debuting in 2010 as a member of Infinite, Kim has released two solo EPs, “Another Me” in 2012 and “27” in 2015.

He was recently cast as the lead actor in the play “Amadeus,” which is set to open on Tuesday.

Rainz
Boy band Rainz taught its fans how to cheer for its new track “Somebody,” a V app video showed Sunday.

In the video, the seven Rainz bandmates demonstrated the cheer for the track.

Starting by shouting out “Time for Rainz” after the first line of the song, they cheered throughout the song shouting out some lyrics and each of the bandmates’ names.

Rainz released its second mini album “Shake You Up” in January. “Somebody” is a track from the album.

The group consist of seven singer trainees who starred in the second season of Mnet’s K-pop competition show “Produce 101.”

The second season of “Produce 101” brought together 101 male trainees to compete for spots in a new group. The seven members of Rainz failed to secure spots in the final 11-member group, but they enjoyed high popularity thanks to the show, which eventually led to their debut as a group jointly managed by their seven agencies.
