The four bandmates of NU’EST W shared what they did during the Lunar New Year holiday in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

“Did you have a happy New Year’s day? You probably did, right?” JR asked fans at the beginning the broadcast.

They said they each went to their hometown, except Aron, who couldn’t go home and just stayed in Seoul.

“We each asked him, ‘Aron, do you want to go to Gangneung?’ ‘Aron, do you want to go to Busan?’ ‘Aron, do you want to go to Jeju?’ but Aron said it was OK,” JR said, referring to the other bandmates’ hometowns.

In the broadcast, the four also shared what they had during the holiday.

“I had fried shrimp,” said Ren, from Busan.

“Your family had fried shrimp? My family didn’t have fried shrimp,” Baekho said, who added that he had Jeju-style sanjeok (Korean style shish kebab).

“In Jeju, we skewer beef or pork and shark,” he said, to the surprise of his bandmates.

“It’s my first time hearing about that (skewering shark meat),” Aron said.
