Apink’s Son Na-eun was caught in unexpected feminism controversy.

Son, currently in New York, updated photos of herself at a local restaurant Tuesday through her social media account. In the released photos, Son showcases a natural look in casual outfit.

The photos seem to be very ordinary, but some were offended by Son’s smartphone case. On the case, it was written “Girls can do anything.”

The phrase came under attack, with many asking the singer if she is a feminist through comments. Heated discussions on feminism took place on the comment thread.

Son eventually deleted the photos, few hours later.
