Umji and Sowon of girl group GFriend competed in a bowling match in a live broadcast via Naver’s V app Sunday.

“Guess where we are!” Umji asked fans, starting up the broadcast.

“You know we got a new hobby recently. So we came to bowl!” Sowon said. “It’s not that we came here for some kind of schedule, but we just wanted to bowl with you.”

Sowon won the game with a score of 125, while Umji recorded a score of 86.

As a punishment, Umji bought Sowon a snack.

Bowling is growing in popularity in Korea. A number of Korean celebrities are seriously pursuing the sport. Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Hong-ki challenged a professional bowler title in October 2016. The two made it to the second round of evaluations, but failed to meet the qualifying score.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
