Actor Park Seo-joon has been selected as the new model for Korean cosmetics brand, Laneige.

Park’s management agency Content Y said Monday that Park had shot a promotion video for the brand’s “Blue Energy” line, a moisturizing skin care line for men, as his first Laneige advertisement.

Laneige reportedly chose Park to be its model because his healthy, bright image was suited for the brand.

The brand also chose Kim Yoo-jung at the end of 2017 to be its main model, replacing Song Hye-gyo who had modeled for ten years since 2008 as its muse.

Park currently stars in the second season of tvN reality show “Youn’s Kitchen,” contributing to the show’s unwavering popularity.
